So the deal with alcohol on our cruise, and on many others, is that it's not included in the price.

So you pay for it using your SeaPass card.

Regarding prices - cocktails were significantly cheaper than back in Australia, wine and beer were slightly more expensive, basic spirits were about the same as back in Australia.

They have a fantastic range of wine and cocktails - hundreds.

The trick is to pick a bar which isn't crowded when you're ordering, as, like anywhere, cocktails can take a long time to make and slow things down considerably.

Also, you have to be careful - the shots they pour are AMERICAN shots, which are 44 mL - this is 50% larger than a shot in Australia.

Consequently, be careful with the amount you're drinking, due to the extra 50% of alcohol content.

The extra content is quite noticeable in basic spirit mixers, but can be missed in the cocktails.
